Our new Sample Pack and Kontakt Instrument, performed by our world-class female vocalist - Andrea Krux and featuring the largest number of our Middle Eastern vocal variations so far is here!
When working with female vocal libraries, our biggest problem was that there wasn't enough variations available per each note and the end result, if trying to make a track or score which breathes with emotion and life, would always end up quite limited and, with this release, we decided to give our take on this issue!
We chromatically sampled 5 vowels - Ah (a), Eh (e), E (i), Oh (o), Oo (u), in 1 octave with two main sustain styles: Soft and Loud.
Additionally, we recorded 5 different takes/variations per each note. To make the samples as best as possible, all of the equipment used in the recording was high-end, starting from microphone - Brauner VMX, preamp - BAE 1073MP, and a converter - Lynx Hilo.
Each of sustains has a short melodic phrase in the beginning, sang in the westernized Middle Eastern scale, which quickly turns to the sustained note.
