First in the series of Ambient Flutes - Ambient Alto Flute - The Lines features 10 different playing styles ranging from sustain, accidental trills to double octave and overtone playing. This KONTAKT Instrument and Sample Pack is full of accidental character, raw dynamics and free rhythmic pulses. Recorded with a high-end microphone, preamp and converter at 96kHz/24bit we wanted to capture the pure expression of playing as detailed as possible.
Each of the articulations/playing styles were sampled chromatically with 3 variations per each key to offer an instant inspiration for your composing and producing. As our main aim was to make a sample library that will show the true and almost untouched character of the Alto Flute, we decided to go after only one dynamic layer that represents flute's timber the best - soft. This dynamic layer also is the one that has the most expressivnes when it comes to playing overtones and other styles of playing.
The download features 2 main folders - samples folder (WAV 96kHz/24bit) and KONTAKT Instrument folder. Please notice that the free Kontakt Player isn't supported but that the full Kontakt version is needed (6.6.0 or higher) in order to run this library.
